Long range plan handbook, 1980-continuing.

Description: The Long Range Plan Handbook is a document which primarily describes the planning process, but also contains statement documents crucial to Stout's planning process. The handbook is divided into sections which are updated periodically. These sections are: Introduction, Context for Planning (Societal & Stout Assumptions), Direction and Focus (Stout Mission & Thrusts), Divisional Long Range Plans, and yearly Data Team Reports. The five data teams identify issues, gather data, and analyze the status of Stout's demographic considerations, program dimensions, personnel, fiscal conditions, and facilities. The Long Range Plan Handbook was begun in 1980 out of the Chancellor's Office and responsibility for the handbook is shared with the Planning and Information Management Office.
